the myths

"Once loki saves the situation by explaining that the bride has not slept for a week because she is so excited about the wedding" (gaarder 27)
i find this quote to be really interesting how people would come up with myths about everything. its so weird to think that even way back in time poeple were in the search for answers about where we came from and who we are and why the world acts a certain way.
